Lou Lou’s Corner

Have you all finished your holiday shopping? No? That’s ok. I’m more of a last minute person myself.
I do a lot of my holiday shopping online because unless Bon Jovi happens to be in it, I dislike crowds and standing in line. I once resisted it, but online shopping is the way to go for me.

I was looking to get my little niece and nephew some of of those wooden toys that we old middle-aged people used to play with when we were little. I remember having a dollhouse and a farm and I remember how I used to love them. Looking for something similar, I stumbled across Lou Lou’s Corner and wow-what a find! I kind of knew it would be by the name alone. For whatever reason, I have always nicknamed my favorite people and pets “Lou Lou”. If I’ve nicknamed you with a “Lou” name then you know I like you and Lou Lou’s Corner gets two thumbs up!

Lou Lou’s Corner is a specialty boutique with a brick and mortar store located in Hickory, North Carolina. They have quite the eclectic variety of items including clothing, pet gifts, things for your house and home, books and toys. They also carry well loved brands like Appaman and Barefoot Dreams along with the cutest assortment of Jellycat stuffed animals. I have to admit, I have never heard of Jellycat before but I am in love with the little faces on all the characters and I think Pudding the Elephant might even make The Grinch warm up to Christmas.

Not only did I find a wooden dollhouse and family, I also found a barn and animals and trucks! Cute and perfect for letting those little imaginations run wild.

When you’re doing your online shopping this holiday season, give Lou Lou’s Corner a try! I think you just might find something fun for almost everybody on your list there. And, guess what? There’s even free shipping on orders over $65.00! (Lou Lou rocks!)
